Our last full week in school this year has been a fantastic one - albeit very busy. 

We have had such positive feedback about the nativities - the children put on great performances every time and I know you as parents and carers enjoyed yourselves. You will see below that we have a video of each performance available to buy, please see the item on Parent Pay if you would like to order it.

The grandparents and local residents who visited yesterday for the Big Sing loved the children's singing - it certainly put them in the festive mood, and they all went away with smiles on their faces!

The school council is really pleased with how successful the collections for their chosen Christmas charities have been. They have been so keen to make a difference in some way. We are hoping to have a final figure of the money raised by the end of the day on Tuesday. 

Sadly Ms Gastineau will be leaving us on 6th January. Although she has only been with us for a short time, she quickly became part of the team, and we will be sorry to see her go. She is moving to a similar job at her children's school.

I hope that you have a good weekend - I am sure that there are lots of Christmas activities planned.

Nativity Videos - Last chance to order!

The professionally recorded videos of the Nativities will be available next week, and this is your last chance to pre-order now via ParentPay. Your money will go straight to the School Fund. A huge thank you to Mr McGrath who took some time out from his busy schedule to video and edit the Nativities for us. It will make a precious memory of your child.

Year 1 Walk to Rookery Court

Please can we ask for some parents to volunteer to accompany us as we walk to Rookery Court on 10th February between 9.00 and 10.00am. We need 5 parents for each class. We will be making comparisons between Autumn and Spring.

KS1 Spring Term School Clubs

All the school-run clubs from the Autumn Term will carry on into the Spring Term, and the children already signed up are automatically enrolled to next term's.

NEW! We are adding 3 new school-run clubs for the Spring Term:

- Mindful Colouring will take place on Tuesdays lunchtime (10 Spaces)

- Book Club will be running on Wednesdays lunchtime (10 Spaces)

- And we will also be starting a School Choir who will meet on Thursdays after lunch (15 Spaces)

We will be allocating the places on a first come first served basis, and you can register your interest for the new clubs by filling the form here.
