It has been such delightful last week to the term and the sun has really shined on us! The Easter Service on Tuesday and Easter Parade yesterday, gave us all a feeling of hope for a gradual return to 'normality'. To see the whole school together was a blessing and the children were so excited.
On Tuesday, the Year 2 Worship Leaders were wonderful and took their responsibilities very seriously. One said afterwards, 'I was nervous at the start. At the end, I was proud of myself.' It was such a special service and all the Worship Leaders should be proud of themselves as they adapted so quickly to their role.
It was lovely to see all the Easter hats, gardens and baskets on Wednesday and sharing the creativity and colours outside in the sunshine was a great 'thankfulness' moment.
The support we have had from our parents and carers has continued to bolster us through this unusual and long term - another thing to be thankful for. I know Easter has probably come quickly for those of you who had the children at home for Remote Learning but I hope that you are able to plan some family activities over the holidays and have an enjoyable break.
You will see below links for the All Saints Easter services below and a few ideas for different holiday activities. I will be looking out for those of you who are joining in with the PFA Easter trail too.
The PFA committee has been continuing to fundraise over the term and have, so far this academic year, raised a massive £20, 000. The Easter trail, Sandygate Cookery Book, half term virtual discos and donut day have been this term's major activities and have contributed to this sum. We will be outlining what the money is being spent at the beginning of the Summer term. Thank you everyone for your contributions to this total.
Have a restful and healthy Easter holiday.
