All the schools in Marlow took part in the day of action, primary and secondary, and we hope that the day had a positive impact.  

At Marlow C of E Infant we all walked to school wearing green - thanks to all the parents/carers and siblings who also joined in by wearing green. We tried to use as little electricity as possible during the day - we had no computers or screens in class, no lights on around school, no hot trolleys for lunch and no hand dryers in the toilets. The only exception was the school office where we needed to keep our computer running and the staff room hot water boiler for the teachers coffee and tea! 

At the end of the day we had used 17kwh of electricity compared to around 50 on a normal day

Children took part in litter picking during the day and our school grounds are now looking very tidy indeed.
