As part of the school’s Green Flag work and Healthy Living topic, we held a Safety Day at school on Tuesday 15^th of November 2022.

A nurse came into school and taught the children First Aid basics such as dialling 999, identifying an emergency and the recovery position. The children were really engaged and eager to learn.

Year 1 and Year 2 did a Road Safety activity in class, where they learnt the road signs and had to sequence the order in which you should be crossing the road safely.

Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances, we weren’t able to run the Scootability sessions - and this will be taking place at a later day.
