Creative Week
Creative Week: Monday 17th - Friday 21st July
The children have had such an exciting Creative Week, ranging from arts and craft to dance, music and physical theatre workshops. The school welcomed visitors who delivered workshops to different year groups including students and teachers from Great Marlow School; parents and ex parents of the school; Mrs Wassing and Mrs Smith; our teachers Mrs Phillips and Mrs Thirlway delivered Music and Art workshops. We also held an Art Exhibition on Friday, showcasing the children's masterpieces that they had been working on over the last half-term, and we gave parents an opportunity to purchase their child's art. Like most things in the world of art, it means different things to different people. Art is an excellent medium for self-expression. Creativity often provides comfort and empowerment, allowing the children to express emotions and ideas that are difficult to communicate verbally.
