This term, the Reception children are learning about the stories of Julia Donaldson. Their recent focus has been on the story 'The Smartest Giant in Town', so this visit to Bekonscot gave them the opportunity to see the world from the giant's point of view!

The weather was sunny and dry for their visit, and they spent the day looking at all the models, riding on the train and enjoying a teaching session about toys from the past and present. 

Thank you to all the parents who came along to help and made this trip possible for the children.
