The Year 1 children walked down to the Rookery Court park this morning.

This visit was part of their science learning for this half-term, and the children had a great time looking for deciduous and evergreen trees. They have learned that evergreen trees keep their leaves during the winter and the deciduous trees lose their leaves-so most of the deciduous trees are bare at the moment!  The children were also observing how things in nature changes during the winter. They did see, however, some signs of spring on the way>
