Marlow Church of England Infant School

Other Ways To Help

Monthly Standing Order

We know that for some parents, time is limited and so they would rather support the school by contributing financially through a monthly standing order rather than with their time.   The amount you choose to donate is chosen by you and the money given goes a long way to help funding the purchase of vital equipment for the school.  If you would like to take part in this scheme, then please complete the section on the attached Donation Form.

We understand that this scheme is not for everyone and there is no obligation to make these donations.

Amazon Smile

Now available on the Amazon App.  AmazonSmile is a part of Amazon.co.uk.  When you shop on AmazonSmile, Amazon will donate 0.5% of the net purchase price (excluding VAT, returns and shipping fees) from your eligible AmazonSmile purchases.  Register at https://smile.amazon.co.uk/ and remember to login to AmazonSmile when you shop.

Company Matched Funding

Company match funding is very simple.  Companies or businesses pledge to donate an amount of money to a charity such as ourselves relating to the amount that an employee(s) donates or fundraises for us.  This can be as simple as volunteering to man a stall at an event for a certain amount of time. We have been helped enormously in the past by this type of donation, and there are several benefits to both ourselves and the company involved:

  • employees’ morale is boosted by having their efforts supported by their employer
  • the company benefits from having charitable donations written off against taxable profits
  • the company can endeavour to get publicity for their giving
  • our PFA benefits from receiving perhaps double what we have raised at an event

If you think that your employer has a matched giving scheme already in operation, or if you would like some more information about charity matched giving or setting up a scheme in your workplace, please talk to one of the PFA Committee or ask in the school office.

GIFT AID

If you are a tax payer, please consider completing the Gift Aid form to allow the school to reclaim 25p for every £1 donated from all Income Tax payers from HMRC.

For higher rate tax payers you can also reclaim the marginal difference via your self-assessment form.
