Remembrance Day
We marked Remembrance Day in school today with an act of worship
The children in KS1 came together for the service in which we said prayers and talked about why we use poppies to remember. The children in Year 2 recited the poem 'In Flanders Field' by John Mcrae which they have been studying this term and the service concluded with the Worship Leaders laying a poppy wreath in our reflection area.
If you would like to hear the Year 2 recite their poem they were recorded for the Marlow Town Remembrance service which was streamed on Sunday and can be viewed on the All Saints Church website here
