This week, Reception children have been learning about Lunar New Year a day early! The start of the New Year of the Snake was marked with lots of different activities led by the Reception team. 

The children made, and then ate, vegetable spring rolls, learned a dragon dance, learned about the story of the Chinese zodiac and all the different animals that are assigned to different years in the Chinese calendar. They also used their cutting skills to make a dragon model.
