Last week was British Science Week and the theme this year was 'Change & Adapt'. 

The week started with a science-themed school worship led by Mrs Browning, our science subject lead, and throughout the week all year groups had some specially planned lessons.

We had a couple of parents who very kindly offered to come in and share their science knowledge with us throughout the week. Mrs Viarnaud spoke to the children about airflow and aeroplanes and Mrs Pash brought in her medical bag and allowed the children to role-play as doctors.

We also welcomed some A-level science students from Borlase on Wednesday afternoon. They helped the children with some impressive practical experiments in the hall. There was a real atmosphere of excitement in the school and the pupils really had their curiosity ignited!

We would like to thank Mrs Browning for planning such an exciting science week for the children.
