School Performance
We are incredibly proud of the achievements of our pupils in all areas of their school life. Below are some of our academic achievements this year compared to national averages:
Early Years Foundation Stage
-Good Level of Development 2024
Throughout the Early Years Foundation Stage, children are assessed against the ‘Early Learning Goals’ as a continuation from ongoing assessments in pre-school.
The attainment of a Good Level of Development (GLD) is measured by pupils having achieved the expected level for the Early Learning Goals (ELGs) in the prime areas of learning (communication & language, personal development and personal, social and emotional development) along with achieving the expected level for the specific areas of mathematics and literacy.

OFSTED Inspection
In December 2023, Marlow Infants was inspected by one of His Majesty's inspectors and an OFSTED inspector. The inspection was carried out under the newer, more comprehensive framework which was introduced in 2019 and the overall effectiveness of the school was judged as 'Good'.
You can read the full report below, which contains a snapshot of the excellent education provided by the school.
One key comment made in the report is:
The school’s ethos encourages all pupils to aim high. These aspirations lead to exceptional learning in early years and in reading, writing and mathematics.
SIAMS Inspection
In June 2024, our school was subject to a Statutory Inspection of Anglican and Methodist
Schools (SIAMS).
The inspector commended the way our school’s vision and church values are woven into the fabric of our community. This nurturing environment fosters not only intellectual growth but also spiritual, moral and social development, ensuring that our students are well-rounded individuals equipped with the skills and character to succeed in all facets of life.
…a loving and nurturing culture where adults and pupils are unique, show one another respect and consequently flourish.
We are immensely proud of the recognition we have received and remain committed to maintaining the high standards and values that define our school. You can read the full report below.
